Born and raised in Knoxville. I grew up playing soccer and played collegiately at the Universtity of Cumberlands in Kentucky. After my college career, I spent 2 seasons in the PDL (professional development league) playing for the Baton Rouge Capitals in Louisiana and the Cincinnati Kings in Ohio. Working with kids has always been my passion and after my soccer career was over, I spent the last 10 years working with middle school and high school athletes running an athletic development company here in Knoxville. I felt a burning desire to return to my first love of Soccer and after talking with my brother, we decided to partner together to form Khan Soccer Academy.

My Story (Coach Jared)

In April of 2020, I was laid off from a medical software sales job. Being laid off was one of the worst moments of my life and me me feel worthless and like a total failure. Over the next 8 months, I would cycle through 3 more sales jobs hitting what I would say was my “rock bottom”. I was truly living my worst nightmare of what I thought my life would be like. Thankfully, I have the best and most supportive wife who completely supported me with her furniture business while allowing me to take a chance on what I always knew I wanted to do with life, Soccer.. I can truly say today that I am living my dream life. I share this in hopes of inspiring anyone that is at “rock bottom” to realize how close you are to your dream life and to never give up and take a chance on your dreams!
